Abstract
With the dissemination of journalism on digital platforms and the reconfiguration of communications promoted by social networks, questions amplify regarding the visibility conditions imposed by the platforms and the new censorship possibilities. In this article, we intend to discuss how possibilities of fighting fake news and encouraging quality journalism can be thought of in this context of new challenges to freedom of expression, which include technological mediation, algorithmic biases and the use of user data.
